This series of work, called Nudes, mostly impressed me. Thomas compresses the pornography he downloaded online, to turn the picture extremely low resolution. Very importantly here, his approach of creating this blurry effect is not through camera, but the compressing of jpeg files. So that the image resolution in digital era is questioned. Does the compression of a image matter for a picture to be a nice photo? Does it decrease the authenticity of a picture? What has digital imaging technology changed on photography?
